This Family Photography Friday we are throwing back to 2015 Holiday Family sessions with the Peake Family. Oh how I love this family! I cannot wait to see them again this year.
Christine and Billy decided to have their wedding reception at the Citrus Club in Orlando, Florida. They traveled all the way from San Diego to exchange vows with family and friends. We had the opportunity of working with them through a referral from our intern, Patricia.
The wedding was held at the All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford, Florida. Complete with Christmas trees as the backdrop for this gorgeous love affair. After leaving Sanford we traveled to Lake Eola to take some night photos with sparklers. This was probably the most fun I have ever had with a wedding party. Trying to get everyone on the same page so that we could get these awesome shots was so intense.
They danced the night away after slicing into their awesome cake with a sword! WHAT?! It was such an honor to work with these two love birds. We wish them a lifetime of happiness!
Family Fun Friday means sometimes you just need to hang out at the playground with your little one. My mother and I took my Little to the Playground to run off some energy and man did we have a great time. It was so very hot. You know, Florida summer HOT! I can tell you that the heat did not slow my munchkin down at all.
So looking forward to watching her grow more and more everyday, and most certainly awaiting the next “Play Date” together.
I wanted to take a moment and say Happy FIRST Anniversary to Centia and Joseph who we had the honor of photographing last year at the Palmetto Club in Daytona Beach, Florida! We wish you many more to come!
Back almost 19 years ago I met this beauty, my best friend, Erika. We were both Freshmen in high school and were the only two to make the JV cheerleading squad. Little did I know that it was the beginning to the most wonderful friendship I would ever have. This lady has been with me through the good, the bad, ups and downs. We’ve had a few falling outs but have somehow always found our way back to each other. If someone were to ask me if I believed in soul mates I would have to answer yes. She was and is my friendship soul mate. She has shown me unconditional love, respect and even some disapproval when needed.
Now that we are both married we move on to make even more of our own personal worlds. I became a mom almost four years ago, and now it’s her turn. She has found her true love soul mate in her husband, Jason. They have tried off and on to have a child of their own and for some reason only God can answer he decided to make them wait. Now, in just 2-3 weeks they will welcome a beautiful baby girl into the world. Words cannot express how excited I am for the two of them, and how anxious I am to meet this reproduction of some of the best people I have ever known.
To this dear little girl I write, “you are already so very loved little one and I hope and pray that you never feel any less than the indescribable amount that is.”
I love you Erika. Thank you for being my “bestie”, my “Ka”, my sister from another mister, my friendship soul mate and more importantly believing in me even when I fell.
